🎵 Oh, There’s No Place Like the Cosmos for the Holidays
This year, the Society welcomes alumni and friends to a sumptuous three-course Formal Dinner — with wine and carols to boot — at the historic Cosmos Club.
The Formal Dinner will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, commencing at 7pm.
The formal includes a prosecco welcome, a three-course Christmas feast (vegetarian option available), and plenty of wine in the proper formal tradition.
🎩 Attire
Dress code for the Formal Dinner is black tie. Gowns (and pennies) are optional but encouraged. Further Cosmos Club dress guidelines can be viewed here.

Starter: Butternut Squash Bisque with Brown Butter Pumpernickel Croutons
Popovers with Sweet Creamery Butter
Mains - Choice of:
Coriander Spiced Duck Breast with Grilled Parsnip, Kabocha Squash, Zucchini, Blackberry-Fig Gastrique, Mache
Grilled Atlantic Salmon with Young Carrots, Roasted Yukon Potato, Rutabaga, Parsnip, Honey Mustard Sauce
Vegetarian/Vegan Option
Dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding Coffee/Tea service
💃 Next Steps
Ticketing will take place via the Eventbrite link here, opening on November 9 at 11am ET. Through this link, you'll be able to purchase tickets, select your menu option, and note any allergies/dietary restrictions. Ticketing will close on December 2.
Tickets will be $155 per person and will include a prosecco welcome, three-course meal with wine, and plenty of holiday cheer in an exclusive and historic venue. Members will be limited to 4 tickets each to begin with, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to attend; additional tickets may be released pending availability.
Tickets are non-refundable, however they can be transferred. Transfer requests must be made in writing (email) to Cantab DC. Transferred tickets will retain the same dietary preference and/or dietary restrictions as indicated by the original ticket holder.
